Christmas Message. 2009.

Peace on Earth and Goodwill towards men.

“Fear not, for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill towards men.” Luke 2:10-11 &14.

Christmas is all about the Advent of Christ the King; the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ and the joy that is in the birth of Christ Jesus.

The words of the angels to the frighten shepherds in the field outside of Bethlehem. Do not be afraid, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you.

The message of the angels was a message of the Savior and the message of God. The message was God’s declaration of deliverance of humanity. The promise of God was fulfilled through the birth of Jesus Christ.

The baby lying in Bethlehem’s manger was a Gift, a Present from God, a loving Father to His children. Christmas is a good time of the year to remind ourselves of the Truth of God’s love for a sinful world, that He gave us His only begotten son that all who believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16.

The mission of God’s son was to bring deliverance to God’s people. The mission of the Savior was to lead God’s people back into relationship with God the Father. This is the good news because it’s the manifestation of God’s love for each and every one who believes and receives Him.

The message and the celebration of Christmas is about God’s peace on earth and goodwill to all men. The message of joyous giving is the most important message of all times. Because of the Savior, we can rejoice in God’s love and care for us here on earth, and anticipate His second Advent when His Kingdom will fully come.

We hope sincerely and desire God’s peace. We all need inner peace during the turmoil around us, peace in our hearts, homes and communities. And peace among nations.

Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. His love for us is awesome and an absolute reality.

May the Love, Peace and Joy of Christmas be yours always. And I pray the Peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus our Savior.

Have a Joyous and a Peaceful Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
